Women's Black Straight-Cut Midi Skirt - High Waist

A black colorway, high-waisted design and straight-cut silhouette define this women's polyester midi skirt. Its medium-length shape offers a different outline from a flared skirt, creating a simple foundation for outfits built around blouses, plain tops and knitwear. Available in XS, S, M and L, it comes with waist, hip and length measurements to help you compare sizes before ordering.

Straight-Cut Everyday Styling

The straight silhouette keeps the overall shape understated, while the black color gives you several directions for coordinating an outfit. Pair it with an ivory blouse for contrast, choose a bright top to introduce color, or combine it with another black separate for a tonal look. A tucked-in top allows the high-waisted design to remain visible.

For a day out, start with a plain top and your preferred flats, then add a jacket if you want another layer. For a different combination, switch to a blouse and simple accessories. You can also experiment with a shorter cardigan or knit top, adjusting the proportions to suit your preferred waistband position and hem placement.

Choosing Your Size

Check the waist, hip and length measurements together rather than relying on the size letter alone. Waist measurements range from 66 cm in XS to 78 cm in L, while hip measurements range from 100 cm to 112 cm. The listed skirt length increases from 92 cm to 95 cm across the four sizes.

Use a skirt you already own as a reference if you can compare it using a consistent measuring method. Think about where you prefer the waistband to sit and how much room you want through the hips. Hem placement will also vary with your height and the position of the waistband.

The chart below shows inches first, followed by the original centimeter measurements. It retains the XS through L labels so you can compare the actual dimensions directly before selecting your preferred size.
